The Babuk ransomware group has recently announced that it is shutting down its operations, but other threat actors have used the leaked code to develop new ransomware variants.
Organizations are advised to ensure their ESXi servers are patched and to regularly back up critical data to mitigate the risk of ransomware attacks.
