After a failed attempt at extortion, Maze, a ransomware gang, published the data of the enterprise giants, LG and Xerox. The gang leaked 50.2 GB of LG’s data and 25.8 GB of Xerox.
Maze first stole the data, back in June, and made demands to both of these enterprise giants for a ransom. The gang told these companies that it would leak the data if it failed to deliver the ransom amount. However, when both of these companies refused, the gang chose to disclose their internal data. This information contains a sensitive code of this company’s proprietary products and services.
