Mend.io, an Israeli cybersecurity company, has acquired Atom Security, an Israeli cyber risk assessment company. Several million dollars are being paid for the acquisition of Atom Security, which was founded earlier this year.
Mend has made five acquisitions totaling tens of millions of dollars in the last three years. Mend.io, formerly known as WhiteSource, was established in 2011 with the goal of helping developers manage open-source libraries, reduce security risks, and handle open-source license issues.
The company has raised USD 122 million in funding thus far, with a USD 75 million Series D expected to close in April 2021. 83North, Pitango Growth, M12 Fund, and Susquehanna Growth Equity are some of its investors.
