Microsoft has recently announced new security capabilities for its solutions, including Microsoft 365, for security compliance, data security, and risk management.
The built-in data loss prevention in Microsoft 365 is valid for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and third-party cloud apps. The new endpoint data loss prevention solution that is available in public preview – extends the DLP capabilities to the endpoint.
It has also announced the double key encryption in Microsoft 365. As explained by the company, “Double Key Encryption for Microsoft 365 uses two keys to protect your data, with one key in your control and the second in Microsoft’s control. To view the data, one must have access to both keys.”
