Microsoft’s Security Intelligence team is raising an alarm once again about the BazaCall contact center phishing and malware group.
Multiple current email campaigns using BazarLoader to send a variety of payloads are being tracked by the company. These operations appear to be unrelated, but they all have one thing in common: they try to undermine traditional email security systems and best practices, according to Microsoft.
To deceive users into downloading the malware, the ‘Stolen Images’ Bazaar Loader campaign sends out phony copyright infringement contact form emails and malicious files that claim to contain “stolen images.”
