Microsoft has disrupted the ONNX phishing service and revealed the operator’s name behind it. A European individual, Abanoub Nady (aka MRxC0DER), has reportedly developed and sold phishing kits under the ONNX brand. The dark web monitoring platform Dark Atlas previously identified the MRxC0DER in July 2024. The company has been tracking MRxC0DER’s cybercrime activities since 2017.
According to Microsoft, he has created and sold multiple phishing services, including ONNX, Caffeine, and more recently, FUHRER. The phishing kits are offered through a phishing-as-a-service model, with prices starting at USD 150 per month. These kits enable users to create and disseminate phishing emails in large-scale campaigns, allowing cybercriminals to collect sensitive user credentials.
