Mitel business affiliate products have been plagued by DDoS attacks using a new vector with a high rate of power boost.
Researchers from Akamai, Cloudflare, Lumen, NETSCOUT, Team Cymru, TELUS, and The Shadowserver Foundation analyzed the attack and published a blog post detailing their findings. Mitel has released a series of advice and safety tips outlining the impact on its products.
According to organizations investigating the DDoS attack, malicious actors are hacking into the malfunctioning systems of Mitel MiCollab and MiVoice Business Express.
