Cloud incident response security startup Mitiga has completed a USD 45 million Series A funding round in which Samsung Next participated as a new investor.
With ClearSky as its lead investor, Mitiga, an Israeli startup developing technology to handle incident response in cloud and hybrid environments, initially announced a USD 25 million Series A in June 2021. The company claimed that previous backers Blackstone, Atlantic Bridge, and DNX also received equity. Since its founding in 2020, the company has raised a total of USD 45 million.
Mitiga intends to use the funding to accelerate growth in a lucrative but cutthroat industry.
