Microsoft recently announced that they are working on adding a new security alert to the Microsoft Defender dashboard for Office 365. It will inform organizations when the employees are getting targeted by nation-state malicious actors. The latest feature has been added to the Microsoft 365 roadmap website.
As per reports, when a user is compromised or targeted in any breach attacks, they will receive an email from Microsoft regarding the attack. It will include basic instructions on the steps to be taken to resecure the devices and inbox. In the latest update, these mails will be available for security teams and system administrators who can take immediate action.
