American networking solutions provider Belden has been, and employee and company data has been stolen.
According to the statement released by the company, the security breach took place after hackers gained access to a limited number of company file services. The stolen data may have contained names, birthdates, bank account information, government-issued identification numbers, home addresses, email addresses, and other employment information. The intruders may have copied information of some business partners as well.

Belden is currently notifying employees and customers whose data it believes was exposed in the incident. It is also working with law enforcement and cybersecurity firms to investigate the incident.
