Cyble has identified a new Android banking trojan called Antidot that poses a significant threat to users. The malware disguises itself as a Google Play update and uses overlay attacks to steal credentials and conversations and gain control over the infected device.
Antidot can perform various malicious activities, including VNC, keystroke logging, screen recording, call forwarding, SMS collection, and overlay attacks on banking and cryptocurrency applications. The trojan is designed to evade detection through obfuscation, encryption, and deploying fake update pages in multiple languages.
