A new Android Trojan named Brokewell has been discovered that can steal user information and allow attackers to take control of infected devices. Brokewell is being distributed via fake application updates and has the ability to steal browser cookies, capture device events, and record audio.
It also allows attackers to take full control over the infected device and perform various actions on the screen. The malware is capable of bypassing existing Android 13 and newer restrictions on using Accessibility Service for application sideloading.
