NVIDIA this week admitted that employee information was stolen during an online attack on February 23 and confirmed that the attackers had begun leaking information online.
The attack took place on February 23 and affected IT resources, a NVIDIA spokesman confirmed.
While the investigation into the incident is ongoing, NVIDIA says it has not received any evidence that ransomware was used on its network. A popular ransomware group called Lapsus $ claims to have stolen more than 1 terabyte of data from NVIDIA.
