In an effort to enhance its capabilities for managing security posture and detecting identity threats, Israeli startup Spera Security will be acquired by enterprise identity giant Okta.
With funding from YL Ventures ($10 million), angel investors, and serial entrepreneurs at Google, Zscaler, Akamai, and Zendesk, Spera became one of the many early-stage startups addressing identity and access sprawl in the enterprise.
Spera’s platform offers proactive, ongoing defense against identity-based attacks that integrate social engineering, phishing, and compromised credentials.
