Oracle is entering the Cloud Security Notification Framework project (CSNF) to utilize various different cloud services. With this initiative, Oracle is seeking to develop a standardized framework to deal with cloud security issues in the current enterprise infrastructure.
The dependency on multiple providers makes it difficult to keep up with and react to notifications and alerts since many cloud providers have their systems set up for reporting security. Such nature can also make it difficult for organizations particularly the ones following the growth in the usage of cloud services over the past 18 months. CSNF aims to build a common information model so that alerts can be processed at scale.
