Palo Alto Networks has announced new 5G security capabilities designed to enable enterprises and service providers to secure and protect global network traffic. The offering will provide granular network visibility and control across all 5G network layers and traffic, enterprises, and service providers end-to-end protection across their 5G networks, services, applications, and devices.
The offering includes automated cloud-delivered threat intelligence to defend against opponents operating at 5G speeds and prevent threats in real-time across 5G networks globally.

5G security capabilities are now available on the Palo Alto Networks PA-5200 Series and PA-7000 Series hardware firewalls. It is also available on all VM-Series software models running PAN-OS 10.0 or greater.
