Palo Alto Networks has introduced a new zero-trust security solution designed to safeguard the operational technology (OT) environments of industrial enterprises.
The new service, Industrial OT Security, which is a vital part of the solution, and the new solution, Zero Trust OT Security, are both anticipated to go on sale in March. A cloud-delivered service called Industrial OT Security gives users complete visibility into cyber-physical systems, including ICSs (industrial control systems) and IoT devices like security cameras and HVAC units.
Palo Alto Networks claims that the service can recognize more than 350 OT asset profiles, more than 1,000 ICS/OT applications, and more than 650 threat signatures using an OT visibility engine powered by machine learning (ML).
