Palo Alto Networks has declared that it has successfully acquired Talon Cyber Security, an Israeli startup that provides enterprise clients with secure browser technology. In November 2023, Palo Alto made the initial announcement that it would purchase Talon for an estimated $625 million.
Through several funding rounds, Talon has raised roughly $125 million and gained popularity for its software, which assists companies in managing the risks posed by unmanaged devices.
Palo Alto vice president Anand Oswal stated during the acquisition announcement that Talon’s enterprise browser technology will be integrated into SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) to provide total zero-trust security for all devices, managed and unmanaged.
