PayPal has announced that its new Fraud Protection Advanced service utilizes device fingerprinting, analytics, and machine learning to help organizations investigate, recognize, resolve and alleviate fraud transactions.
PayPal’s new launch includes a host of fraud management features especially for mid-market and enterprise businesses with an aim to help challenge the rise of online payments fraud caused by the COVID 19 pandemic.
The global pandemic drove an unprecedented boost in online spending in 2020 with eCommerce penetration touching an all-time high of 21.3% which was the highest year-over-year increase for American retail sales ever recorded than before.
