ProjectDiscovery, a cloud security startup based in San Francisco, has secured USD 25 million in early-stage funding as investors keep betting on companies in the attack surface management market.
The company claimed that CRV, a seasoned Silicon Valley venture capital firm, led the USD 25 million Series A funding round. Additionally, Point72, SignalFire, Rain Capital, Mango Capital, Accel, and Lightspeed made investments in ProjectDiscovery.
A company with roots in open-source, ProjectDiscovery is developing technology to assist businesses in managing digital assets in the cloud, identifying and resolving security flaws in the cloud, and finding vulnerabilities at scale.
Data from multiple cloud deployments are integrated into asset management software provided by the ProjectDiscovery platform.
