ProvenRun, a French firm specializing in the development of secure software for IoT devices and connected vehicles, has secured a Series A funding round of EUR 15 million (approximately USD 16.1 million).
The funding was led by Tikehau Capital in collaboration with the Definvest fund of the French Ministry of Defence. The Paris-based company was established in 2009 and offers proactive security measures via an embedded operating system and secure applications.
The company claims that ProvenCore, its flagship product, is the only operating system to achieve the highest certification level on the computer security standard Common Criteria, EAL7.
