Global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto and PwC, an assurance, advisory, and tax services firm, announced an expanded partnership to provide managed detection and response (MDR) services to joint customers.

The offering combines MDR services delivered by PwC — Managed Cyber Defense — and the industry’s first fully-integrated detection and response platform, Cortex XDR, by Palo Alto Networks. Together, customers will be able to take advantage of a state-of-the-art managed threat hunting, detection, protection, and response service from anywhere globally. It will enable security teams to significantly reduce attack dwell time and manual day-to-day security operations workloads, thus elevating organizations to a mature security posture.
