When users attach a Razer device into a computer running Windows 10 or Windows 11, the operating system will immediately download and install the Razer Synapse software. Razer Synapse is a piece of software that allows users to customize their hardware, create macros, and map buttons.
Security researcher Jonhat identified the zero-day vulnerability in the Razer Synapse plug-and-play installation that lets users to swiftly get SYSTEM access on a Windows device.
