Salt Security, the API security platform provider, has recently announced that it has raised $30 million in Series B funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, along with participation from old investors S Capital VC, Tenaya Capital, and Y Combinator.
Overall, the startup has raised $60 million in funding to date, following another $20 million Series A round in June 2020.

With this finance, the company plans to accelerate its business in 2021 – supporting product development, sales, and advanced marketing initiatives. Moreover, the company believes this will boost its functionalities – prevent critical cyber-attacks and protect APIs from threat actors.
