India-based Scrut Automation has announced that it has raised USD 7.5 million in a new round of funding that will help the company improve its governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) platform and expand its presence in the United States.
The latest round of funding, which brought Scrut Automation’s total to more than USD 10 million, was led by MassMutual Ventures with participation from Lightspeed and Endiya Partners. The company says its risk and compliance automation platform is designed to simplify information security monitoring for cloud-based small and midsize businesses.
Scrut Automation’s GRC platform enables organizations to set up information security programs and controls, continuously monitor their compliance controls, discover cyber assets, and manage compliance audits.
