Software security solutions provider Secureworks has announced plans to acquire vulnerability management firm Delve Laboratories. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to finalize by the end of Secureworks’ fiscal third quarter.
Founded in 2014, Delve has an automated platform that leverages AI and ML to scan, detect, and manage vulnerability prioritization and remediation. It helps companies learn where vulnerabilities are located, and which present the greatest risk to their business networks.

The acquisition will help Secureworks to use Delve’s services to strengthen its cloud-based Red Cloak platform and extend its Threat Detection and Response (TDR) application with new integrations, analytics, and user experience improvements.
