Snowflake, a data cloud company, is the latest enterprise technology firm to seek to fuel the huge data lakes that underpin enterprise security systems.
With Snowflake’s platform and a wide ecosystem of partners supplying security capabilities through connected applications, cybersecurity teams can quickly acquire visibility and automation at cloud scale. Customers may consolidate logs and enterprise data using Snowflake’s Data Cloud and store nearly unlimited amounts of “hot” data for years at a low cost.
Hunters.ai, Lacework, Panther, Securonix, and Immuta, all of which interface with the Snowflake data cloud to deliver cybersecurity capabilities via connected applications, have received funding from Snowflake Ventures, the company’s venture capital arm.
