Researchers have identified two new sets of Russia-based actors that indicate a major threat.
One year after the infamous and far-reaching SolarWinds attack, its organizers attacked again. Researchers say they have seen a threatening group – Microsoft’s so-called “Nobelium” and affiliated with the Russian spy agency – jeopardizing the goals of global business and government through novel and malicious software, data theft and cyberbullying.
Researchers from Mandiant have identified two different types of work that may be “related” to the threat group, which they follow as UNC2452.
