Johannes Hahn, the European Commissioner for Budget and Administration confirms the hack of some EU agencies because of the SolarWinds supply chain attack. Johannes Hahn cited the findings of CERT-EU in response to a question filed in February 2021 by an EU Parliament member.
CERT-EU confirmed that only 14 EU agencies ran the SolarWinds Orion monitoring software, out of which six of them were hacked. However, the CERT-EU did not disclose the names of the six EU agencies.
