Source Defense, a supplier of client-side protection for online applications, has raised 27 million USD in Series B funding, increasing the company’s total investment to 47 million USD.
Springtide Ventures led the new fundraising round, which included existing investors AllegisCyber Capital, Capital One Ventures, Connecticut Innovations, Inc., Global Brain, Jerusalem Venture Partners, and NightDragon. Source Defense is developing technologies to assist in mitigating third-party supply chain vulnerabilities by safeguarding websites’ client-side JavaScript code.
According to the company, their platform combines security and compliance features, enabling businesses to safeguard consumers’ personal and financial information.
