Stormshield, a French cybersecurity organization, acknowledged the breach attack where a malicious actor gained access to one of the customer support platforms. The organization is known for providing network security devices and security services to the French government. The hackers managed to steal some client data as part of the breach attempt.
As per reports, the threat actor has also stolen some parts of the source code for the Stormshield Network Security firewall (SNS). The product is certified to be utilized in sensitive French government networks. ANSSI, a French cybersecurity agency, is investigating the incident.
