Sweet Security has emerged from stealth mode, launched a Cloud Runtime Security Suite, and announced a USD 12 million seed funding round led by Glilot Capital Partners with participation from angel investors including Gerhard Eschenbach and Travis McPeak.
Dror Kashti, the CEO and a former CISO of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and Eyal Fisher, the CPO and former head of the cyber division at the IDF’s Unit 8200, established the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company in 2022. Orel Ben-Ishay, the former Director of Unit 81’s R&D facility for cybersecurity, joined them.
With the help of the new funding and other resources, it is intended to expand on the opportunities that the sensor’s detection capabilities offer.
