Swiss cybersecurity firm PRODAFT says it has accessed servers used by a hacking group involved in the SolarWinds breach. The cybersecurity firm also said the hackers have continued with their campaign through March.
PRODAFT researchers were able to break into the hackers’ computer infrastructure and examine evidence of a massive campaign that targeted thousands of businesses and government organizations across the US and Europe between August and March. As per PRODAFT’s report, the aim of the hacking group – dubbed SilverFish – was to spy on victims and steal data.
