The print spooler remote code execution vulnerability known as “PrintNightmare” has been assigned CVE-2021-34527 by Microsoft, and the offending code has been confirmed to exist in all versions of Windows.
The company said it’s still looking into whether the flaw can be exploited in all versions, but domain controllers are susceptible.
The company also confirmed that this vulnerability was different from CVE-2021-1675. The tech giant also said that the PrintNightmare flaw was being exploited in the wild.
