In early March, the maker of tools and equipment for the automotive, aviation, marine, railroad, and heavy-duty industries was forced to shut down parts of its network due to a cyberattack. Snap-on didn’t say what kind of cyber-attack the company was hit by, but the Conti ransomware gang has claimed responsibility.
