Chronicle-owned VirusTotal has announced the launch of VirusTotal Collections, a new resource geared at making it easier for security experts to share Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
These collections are accessible to registered VirusTotal users, and their owners can easily add or delete IoCs from them to keep them relevant.
With Collections, VirusTotal hopes to eliminate the need for security researchers to share IoCs with the public via other sites like Pastebin or other sharing platforms. The Search tab on the VirusTotal main page can be used to generate IoC collections.
