VMware, the virtualization technology company, has warned businesses using its Aria Operations for Networks product, stating that hackers have already begun launching exploits in the real world, less than two weeks after urgent security patches were released to address vulnerabilities.
This comes as live exploits, initially identified by GreyNoise, specifically target the CVE-2023-20887 command injection vulnerability, which has a high severity score of 9.8/10 according to the CVSS rating system.
