As part of its quarterly set of security updates, Oracle has announced the release of 433 new patches, including more than 70 fixes for vulnerabilities with a critical severity.
More than 250 of the vulnerabilities addressed can be used remotely and anonymously. A few of the fixed bugs have an effect on several products. Oracle Communications received the most security patches, 77, for the third consecutive quarter.
65 of the vulnerabilities addressed can be used by remote, unauthorized attackers. Oracle’s advisory states that 59 of the fixed bugs can be used remotely over the network by attackers without the need for user credentials.
