A vulnerability in a WordPress plugin allowed hackers to gain unauthorized access to the website of Ferrari, the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer. The vulnerability was found in the plugin “WP File Manager,” which lets users manage files on their website.
The flaw allowed attackers to upload malicious files to the website and execute code on the server, potentially giving them access to sensitive data.
The issue was discovered and reported to Ferrari by a security researcher, and the company has since fixed the vulnerability.
