Android Trojan called Xenomorph Nest on Google Play, has already downloaded more than 50,000 downloads from the official app store, researchers warned. For anyone downloading the “Fast Cleaner” app, it’s time to remove it from orbit.
According to ThreatFabric analysis, Xenomorph has a target list of 56 different European banks, where it provides convincing faxes for login pages whenever a victim tries to access a mobile banking app. The goal is simply to steal any guarantees that victims enter into the login package.
