Zmanda, the open-source enterprise backup solution provider, has announced its latest software, named Amanda Enterprise Backup Solution (AE). It comes with solutions like AWS Glacier, Google Cloud, centralized license management, enhanced user experience, VMWare API Upgrade, and more.
This will help protect the physical servers, virtual machines, databases, applications, and cloud solutions of enterprises. The company also noted this rollout is focused on reliability, security, and ease of use for businesses. Besides, it is extending its support to the updated versions of operating systems.
Zmanda 4.0 has been designed to allow IT professionals to manage all backup policies, which includes on-premise and cloud environments, along with a single dashboard.
