Zoom identifies the issue and works to provide a fix for the Windows client Code Execution vulnerability

Zoom, the popular videoconferencing tool identified a vulnerability that could be exploited in Windows 7 and older versions. Official support for Windows 7 version was stopped by Microsoft at the beginning of 2020. For users who do not wish to wait for the patch, a third-party solution has been offered by ACROS.

The security company is popular for its Opatch service. The company’s security researchers announced the availability of the micro patch which tackles the liability in 4 different sections of the code.
