Wind River Systems, the embedded system software provider, has started informing its employees about the recent data breach. It has resulted in their personal information being taken by a third party.
The company noted that its technology is found in several products as it develops run-time software, middleware, and development platforms. This security attack has taken place on or around September 29, 2020 – where the threat actors accessed the employee data.
