Cyble is a Y Combinator-backed AI-driven cyber threat intelligence company that helps businesses detect and defend against the dark web and cybercrime. The company today announced that Vivek Kumar Sharma, former head of India sales at Attivo Networks, has been appointed as Regional Sales Director of Cyble’s Strategic Alliances and Partnerships (India and South Asia Regional Partnerships). The news comes after Cyble announced a $10 million Series A round led by Blackbird Ventures, with participation from Spider Capital, January Capital, Cendana Capital and VentureSouq.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Vivek has built a reputation for these broad accomplishments as a versatile and influential leader, strengthening operations and accelerating profitability in challenging market environments. His expertise is in strategically facilitating business restructuring to take advantage of current and emerging opportunities to break down revenue barriers.

Prior to Cyble, Vivek was responsible for launching and establishing Attivo Networks’ sales operations in India, in addition to over-achieving business goals and developing regional development/management plans. Prior to that, as Strategic Account Manager at M.Tech Solutions (India), Vivek initiated and orchestrated several high-profile transactions using a variety of technologies in a market with several well-known key players.
