Red River, a technology transformation company, announced today that Kush Kumar will become the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) effective immediately.

Kumar most recently held the title of VP of Public Sector Sales. He joined Red River in 2011 and has led sales teams that have averaged year over year double-digit revenue growth. Kumar has a well-earned reputation for exceeding revenue and gross profit goals while building, leading and coaching high-performance sales teams. As CRO, Kumar will be responsible for Red River’s overall revenue growth. In addition, as the company continues to accelerate its expansion, he will help drive Red River’s go-to-market strategy.

Before joining Red River, Kumar started his Federal sales career at GTSI, working as a DoD solutions architect. He focused on server, storage and networking enterprise solutions. While leading a global team, Kumar played a leading role in growing GTSI’s DoD business to over $350M. After GTSI, Kumar became the DoD/Army sales manager for Oracle, where he leveraged his Federal sector experience and long-standing DoD relationships to create and sell IT services and solutions to meet the U.S. military’s demanding needs. Kumar is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where holds a degree in electrical engineering.
