Threat actors are creating accounts within the Adobe Cloud suite and send seemingly legitimate photos and PDFs for targeting Office 365 and Gmail users, Avanan researchers found.

Attackers use Adobe Creative Cloud to target Office 365 users with malicious links that appear to be coming legally to cloud users but instead directing victims to a link that steals their information, the researchers found.

Avanan researchers, a Check Point company, first discovered the ongoing operation in December when they stopped another attack, according to a report. Adobe Creative Cloud is popular file sharing and creation software and integrates widely used applications like Photoshop and Acrobat.
