'Badsecrets’ Open Source Tool Catches Secrets in Many Web Frameworks

Black Lantern, a cybersecurity company, launched an open-source tool named Badsecrets. This open-source tool will identify weak cryptographic secrets present in web frameworks.

Badsecrets is based on a Python library with a modular design offering ten modules that can replace existing tools for finding known secrets. This tool can detect exploited secrets for Remote Code Execution (RCE) only.
