Belarusian Hacker Group Claims to Infiltrate KGB Security Agency

A Belarusian hacker group, known as the Belarusian Cyber-Partisans, claims to have hacked the Belarus KGB’s network, accessing over 8,600 personnel files. The group alleges this was in response to the KGB Chief’s accusations against them of planning attacks on Belarus’s infrastructure.

They aim to expose those involved in political repression and have launched a Telegram chatbot to identify KGB operatives using uploaded photos. Also, the Cyber-Partisans took responsibility for a cyberattack on Belarus’s largest fertilizer plant, Grodno Azot, as part of their efforts to pressure the government into releasing political prisoners.
