CISA hold Chinese hackers responsible for Citrix, F5, Exchange, and Pulse Secure bugs manipulation

A security advisory was recently published by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) warning about the attacks launched by China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS). As per the Agency report, Chinese hackers have trawled the US public networks to detect prominent networking devices and then manipulated the liabilities to gain entry into sensitive enterprise networks.

The significant vulnerabilities identified in the past 12 months were CVE-2019-11510, CVE-2020-0688, CVE-2020-5902, and CVE-2019-19781. Most of the attacks were successful, and federal networks were compromised. Iranian hackers have also attacked the systems and provided access to other Iranian hackers to choose which structures to manipulate.
