Darwinium, a customer protection-focused startup with offices in San Francisco, has raised USD 10 million in a seed funding round that was co-led by Blackbird and Airtree and included a number of well-known angel investors.

The platform of the security and fraud prevention company continuously evaluates users’ digital interactions across websites, applications, and APIs to identify bad behavior in real time. In order to protect customers, Darwinium claims to combine internal cybersecurity tools with fraud-prevention tools into a single view. The startup aims to stop account compromise and online fraud by integrating security controls that were previously fragmented.
